In June 2018 we were informed by the previous owner of his imminent plan to retire and close The Tea Store – A business that we had loyally supported for over 25 years due to their exceptional teas – especially the Bourbon Vanilla black tea. Perhaps it was panic, or fate, but within hours we decided to extend a purchase offer that was accepted. Since then we have learnt the tea business, endured a global pandemic that forced us to shift towards a uniquely personalized relationship model where our customers are treated as family, and made exceptional relationships from around the globe
The vast majority of our teas are provided by Ronnefeldt – one of the oldest and most prestigious tea houses in Europe. Originating in Frankfurt, in 1823, Ronnefeldt is globally recognized as the leader in the premium and hospitality tea marketplace. Their teas, glasswares, porcelains, and display units are found in the finest 4 & 5 star rated hotels, restaurants, and wellness spas. We have also fostered and maintained many long standing partnerships with smaller tea houses that provide us, and our to customers, their rare and ceremonial graded teas.
As an accredited Ronnefeldt Tea Sommelier, and having access to their industry leading teas and products (glassware, porcelains, display towers / caddies), we are now supporting several resorts, restaurants, and wellness spas by developing customized tea offerings that delight their customers and generate incremental revenue streams.
